Position: Sales Supervisor

Role Overview:
As the Sales Team Manager at BritGreen Energy, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives, ensuring the team meets and exceeds their sales targets. This position involves guiding, mentoring, and motivating the sales team, monitoring sales metrics, and developing strategies to ensure the achievement of business objectives. You will also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, tracking performance, and staying on top of market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Motivation:

Guide, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed individual and team sales goals. Create a positive team environment that encourages performance and collaboration.

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Track sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and report on progress to management. Identify areas for improvement and implement actions to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

  • Sales Strategy Development:

Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans aimed at achieving the company’s overall business objectives.

  • Training & Development:

Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Stay up-to-date with the company’s products or services and ensure the team is well-informed about any updates or changes.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with key customers, address and resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Forecasting & Budgeting:

Contribute to the sales forecasting and budgeting processes, assisting in setting realistic sales targets and projections for the team.

  • Market & Competitor Analysis:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement in sales approaches.

  • Administrative Oversight:

Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling shifts, approving time-off requests, managing team expenses, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Policy Compliance:

Ensure the sales team complies with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Collaboration with Other Departments:

Work closely with other departments such as marketingproduct development, and customer service to align sales activities with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and create actionable strategies.
  • Experience in renewable energy or eco-friendly products (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle administrative duties and manage a sales budget.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and competitor analysis.
