What we are looking for

This newly created position of Digital Marketing Specialist will oversee the daily execution of marketing strategies to drive acquisition and retention for Aperture’s brands. Working closely with internal partners, s/he will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of digital media channels, including Paid Search, Display Retargeting, Paid Social Media and Affiliates. This person will work closely with the eCommerce, Creative, and Merchandising teams and our YouTube video team as needed. The position reports into the Sr Manager of Digital Marketing.


What you’ll do

Grow Digital Acquisition & Revenue: Direct responsibility for driving traffic, conversion and ROI for all digital acquisition channels, including paid search, paid video, display, remarketing, paid social media and affiliates.

Manage Advertising Campaigns and Performance: Work in digital marketing platforms, such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Meta Ad Manager, to manage advertising campaigns and optimize advertising spend for all digital acquisition channels to drive campaign objectives such as new customers and revenue.

Oversee Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting: Manage annual budgeting process, as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting at channel level for traffic, revenue, spend, ROI and other performance KPIs. Deliver quantitative and data-driven business recommendations.

Maintain Constant Level of Optimization: Constantly seek optimization and growth through performance analysis, A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, creative partnership, landing page optimization and more.

Drive Digital Innovation & Shift to Mobile: Serve as digital marketing thought leader; helping to identify digital marketing trends, new technologies, evolving best practices, competitor activity, and testing opportunities that help drive the business.

You’ll play a critical role in the continued evolution of our marketing initiatives to ensure we best meet the needs of our growing and diverse customer base. You’ll work very closely with the rest of the Marketing and Creative team as well as with the eCommerce and Merchandising teams.


What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in eCommerce or retail, with a proven track record in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Strongly KPI oriented: acquisition, conversion, ROI

  • Experience running day-to-day, in platform management of digital marketing campaigns and analytics, especially paid media (search, video, display, retargeting, social) and affiliates

  • Experience working in digital measurement, reporting and visualization tools such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio
