We are searching for a talented Artist Marketing Manager (Fender) to join our global marketing team, based in Nashville, TN. The Artist Marketing Manager will play an integral role in Fender’s ongoing commitment to artists and overall marketing initiatives. You will drive Fender’s strategy across all genres and music segments by building highly effective relationships with artists, music industry personnel and influencers; expand on-stage & in-studio artist adoption through product seeding and sales; and support marketing initiatives (product launches, content/social media, etc.) and programs that elevate the artist, continually building the brand and creating demand.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with the Director of Artist Marketing to expand Fender’s presence across genres and elevate the role of guitar and bass in music and culture.
- Build and maintain relationships with emerging and established artists to support their musical journeys with integrity and collaboration.
- Provide top-tier support to artists, ensuring product delivery and logistics align with their needs.
- Introduce new artists to Fender, offering guidance on product alignment and marketing initiatives.
- Work with artist management, labels, and marketing partners to increase visibility and collaboration opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to elevate artist visibility across media and consumer channels through content, PR, social media, and events.
- Drive engagement and growth on both Fender’s and artists’ social platforms with effective marketing strategies.
- Maintain communication with artists, management teams, and industry contacts to support artist-driven initiatives.
- Ensure Fender’s Nashville showroom is maintained and ready for artist visits.
- Travel as necessary to support key projects and build relationships with artists and industry
Qualifications:
- Guitar and/or bass playing background with in-depth knowledge of instruments.
- 5+ years of experience in the music, recording, or entertainment industry with a focus on artist marketing or grassroots programs.
- Proven experience working with a variety of artists, songwriters, producers, and influencers.
- Strong ability to manage cross-functional processes to ensure operational excellence and business growth.
- Established network in the Nashville music and recording community, including managers, agents, and influencers.
- Capable of leading product demos and inspiring artists in Fender’s showroom.
- Service-oriented, going beyond industry standards to support artists with gear repairs, exposure, and networking.
- Experience implementing strategies aligned with marketing disciplines like PR, social media, and retail/events.
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and experience leveraging social media to identify and support emerging artists.

If this is a remote position, the pay scale disclosed herein may be adjusted further based upon the applicable geographic differential associated with the location from which the successful candidate will work. Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role – especially as a new hire – and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $60,000 - $90,000.
