Overview

Part of the Sales team, you are the driving force in bringing our products directly to customers. By interacting with trade, commercial and wholesale customers, you will engage with external partners and establish brand loyalty through a diverse product portfolio. You must possess excellent communication skills, persuasive abilities, and a results-oriented mindset. You must also be adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Responsibilities

This person will deliver the necessary training and development tools to our customers in an effort to achieve the overall sales goals. Additionally, this role is responsible for the delivery of best in class training programs for key trade channel representatives including: Showroom Professionals, Inside Sales, Field Sales, Customers, Trade professionals, Key influencers. This candidate will also support our Trade Up program which promotes skilled labor for plumbing trades. That support includes engaging with apprentice programs, vocational schools and wholesalers to educate them on benefits of a career in plumbing and train them on our brands.

Qualifications

Plan and coordinate product training events and activities for onboarding and on ongoing education.

Develop and facilitate training for sales team, customers and influencers including plumbers, builders, designers, engineers.

Routinely conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement.

In partnership with Content Specialist and subject matter experts, produce physical and digital educational material (e.g. videos and case studies).

Bring continuous improvement to the role by collecting feedback from trainees and managers about training courses and work with the team to outline enhancements or new modules.

Collaborate with the Data and Analytics Specialist on the impact of training programs (e.g. sales achieved).

Liaise with external trainers or industry professionals and organize seminars, deliver CEUs. Strategize future curriculum development.

Support the National Trade Sales Training team on implementation of key national training programs. Advocate and serve as a spokesperson for the Trade Up program.

Connect with VoTech Schools, apprentice programs and customers with the purpose of creating passion for skilled labor jobs and knowledge and preference for LIXIL brands.

Coach and collaborate with service team and sales to create training opportunities in local markets.

Excellent organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).

Strong presentation skills; comfortable speaking & engaging large groups.

Comfort with video technology.

Comfort with cold calling for VoTech outreach.

Job is remote with the exception of facilitating events.

3-5 years experience working with VoTech schools or similar trade experience.

Must be willing to travel across the country for training events, 50% per month of travel.

We are open to considering candidates in SoCal, Chicago or NY/NJ areas.

Hiring Range

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York is: $88,000k- $157,000 annually.

(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

Other Compensation (if applicable): This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Short Term Incentive plan.
