  • Model Identification & Attestation o Model Classification o Model Implementation o Model Integrity Testing

Contract description We are currently seeking an Internal Auditor with a focus on Model Risk Management to join us in a Contract role Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with Model Risk Management (MRM) governance, identifying areas of risk and recommending improvements to the control framework. Develop and maintain the Model Risk Framework, including the creation and revision of policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Design and deliver Model Risk Training Material tailored to various stakeholders within the organization, ensuring a thorough understanding of MRM principles and practices. Oversee the Model Identification & Attestation process, ensuring that all models are accurately identified, documented, and attested to by the appropriate parties. Execute Model Classification and Implementation tasks, categorizing models according to risk and complexity, and ensuring they are implemented correctly within the business environment.

Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Model Risk Management, with a strong understanding of model governance, risk management, and internal control processes. Proven technical expertise in model development, validation, or audit, with a solid grasp of quantitative methods and risk modeling techniques. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to create effective training materials and to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with performing Model Integrity Testing to validate the performance and accuracy of models, and to ensure they function as intended over time and under different scenarios.
