Key Responsibilities

As the Mortgage Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a skilled team of mortgage loan officers and overseeing the mortgage origination process.
  • Driving growth within the Real Estate department through effective networking and business development activities.
  • Promoting home ownership across diverse market segments.
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of federal, state, and secondary market guidelines, including Fannie Mae and FHA/VA regulations.
  • Collaborating with team members, members of the community, vendors, and realtors to fulfill departmental objectives in marketing, compliance, and training.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to your team, ensuring access to the necessary tools for success.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong leadership and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with secondary market guidelines and automated underwriting processes.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in mortgage origination and business development/sales.
