Role Summary
Splunk is seeking a Global Channel and Distribution Programs Manager to support the onboarding of new distributors across the globe. This strategic role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of programs that streamline onboarding processes and foster positive relationships with Splunk's growing network of global distributors. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless integration of new partners, drive channel enablement, and contribute to Splunk’s overall channel strategy.
Responsibilities
  • New Distributor Onboarding: Develop and manage a structured onboarding program to ensure new distributors are quickly and effectively coordinated into Splunk's ecosystem, including training, enablement, and alignment with our channel strategy.
  • Program Management: Design and implement scalable channel programs that support distributors in their go-to-market efforts. This includes defining program goals, measuring success, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Partner Enablement: Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored training materials, certification programs, and support resources to empower distributors and ensure they are equipped to sell and service Splunk’s solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to distributor engagement and ongoing support.
  • Compliance and Contracts: Ensure that distributors adhere to Splunk’s policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the onboarding documentation and partner agreements.
  • Performance Management: Monitor the performance and success of distributor programs through metrics, providing regular reporting to leadership and recommending adjustments to optimize partner engagement.
  • Global Alignment: Ensure alignment of distribution programs across regions while addressing local market needs, cultural differences, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in channel management, distribution programs, or partner enablement, preferably in the tech or software industry.
  • Global Perspective: Experience working in global markets with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in diverse regions.
  • Program Management Skills: Strong ability to lead large-scale programs with a focus on planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage collaborators at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of Splunk’s products and the ability to convey technical information to partners in a digestible way.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of balancing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $144,000.00 - 198,000.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
