Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Director of Generative AI - Agents and Tooling to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role involves leading the creation of innovative AI-driven solutions that will transform both customer interactions and internal business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement abstract platform services that enhance applications utilizing generative AI.
  • Create SDKs and APIs that empower our user community to develop AI-driven tools, including information retrieval systems, fraud detection mechanisms, AI assistants, and recommendation algorithms.
  • Develop services focusing on prompt engineering and vector databases to enhance generative AI workflows, including the refinement of large language models (LLMs) through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Oversee comprehensive coordination with operations to ensure the delivery of superior datasets and the successful deployment of production-level AI models.
  • Collaborate closely with research and product teams to prioritize and advance upcoming AI services that will foster organizational innovation.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and AI technologies to guide the direction of future initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or C/C++.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and deploying enterprise AI or machine learning applications.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in guiding teams that develop machine learning solutions.
  • Familiarity with LLM-based conversational AI systems.
  • Expertise in MLOps and managing the complete lifecycle of machine learning applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in programming.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the design and deployment of enterprise AI applications.
  • A minimum of 4 years in a leadership role overseeing teams.
  • Proven experience in people management, specifically in the realm of AI solutions.

Compensation And Benefits

  • San Francisco, CA (Hybrid On-Site): \(291,100 - \)332,300 annually
  • New York City (Hybrid On-Site): \(274,800 - \)313,600 annually
  • Remote (Regardless of Location): \(232,900 - \)265,800 annually
  • Compensation may vary based on location and qualifications, and this will be finalized in the official offer letter.
