Job Title: Financial Analyst - Remote Position

Job Overview

We are in search of a proficient Financial Analyst who possesses a strong background in behavioral healthcare budgeting and revenue modeling. As a vital member of our consulting firm, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional support to non-profit organizations in the social services and healthcare fields across the nation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data meticulously, including revenue streams, expenditures, and fiscal projections.
  • Develop and review CCBHC Cost Reports, budgets, and pertinent documentation in accordance with project specifications.
  • Identify avenues for financial enhancement by evaluating PPS results, tracking variances, and recognizing emerging trends, while recommending viable strategies to management.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial analyses to key stakeholders, including executives and team members, ensuring clarity and relevance.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical acumen with a proven track record in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent collaboration abilities to effectively partner with executives and colleagues in achieving project objectives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present complex financial concepts in an accessible manner.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices.
  • Familiarity with CCBHC clinics and healthcare billing regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Between 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in fiscal management or administration, emphasizing financial systems and controls.
  • Experience with auditing, billing compliance assessments, and trend analysis pertinent to behavioral health services.
  • Understanding of the behavioral health provider/government landscape, including CCBHCs and FQHCs.
