Job Overview

We are actively recruiting three dedicated full-time Instructors across various ranks: Assistant Instructor, Instructor, and Assistant Professor, to enhance our dynamic academic team. Our program is designed to tackle the critical public health workforce shortage by delivering an entirely online, applied, accessible, affordable, and competency-driven educational journey. With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and a steadfast commitment to excellence in public health, we have expanded significantly since our establishment in 2008, growing from 18 students and 9 courses to over 200 current students, more than 700 alumni, and around 20 faculty members.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver graduate-level courses in a fully online format
• Mentor and provide academic guidance to students
• Engage in academic committees and faculty meetings, whether remotely or in-person as necessary
• Collaborate on research initiatives with fellow faculty members
• Cultivate community partnerships that align with our program's mission
  
  

Required Skills

• Expertise in Rural Health
• Proficiency in Data Management, Analytics, and Informatics
• Knowledge of Public Health Research Methods & Program Design
• Understanding of Health Policy

Qualifications

• Public health practice experience, particularly in leadership or community partnership roles
• Proven experience in teaching graduate-level courses online, particularly within the public health domain

Work Environment
