Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Adjunct Instructor to enhance our Culinary Arts and Hospitality team. This part-time role provides the opportunity to engage with students in a flexible teaching environment, whether online or on campus, contributing to the development of future culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver stimulating culinary arts courses in both virtual and physical classrooms.
  • Mentor students through essential food preparation, cooking techniques, and hospitality skills.
  • Develop course materials and syllabi that align with industry standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to foster student success.
  • Create an encouraging learning atmosphere that promotes creativity and collaboration.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively connect with students.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Capability to craft compelling course materials and syllabi.

Qualifications

  • A passion for culinary arts and at least an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality (a bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred).
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the culinary industry (this may be waived for candidates with advanced degrees).
