Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Multi-Unit Restaurant Marketing

Location: Flexible/Remote (Preference given to candidates based near our restaurant locations)

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Area Sales Manager to be a vital part of our rapidly expanding restaurant group. This role will focus on enhancing our unique brand across various regional locations, while collaborating closely with management to spearhead local marketing initiatives. If you excel in building relationships, fostering creative partnerships, and analyzing the success of marketing campaigns, this opportunity is designed for you. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive annual marketing calendar, featuring new location openings, market-wide promotions, and brand enhancement activities.
  • Formulate and implement strategies for annual promotions while presenting innovative ideas and campaigns to the team.
  • Maintain effective communication with local stores to provide clear instructions and support for promotional activities, while coordinating the necessary POS materials.
  • Manage and execute marketing strategies for new store openings, leveraging local and regional agencies as needed.
  • Supervise advertising initiatives, public relations activities, and social media efforts to ensure successful launches.
  • Oversee contracts for local store advertising, including billboards, radio advertisements, direct mail, and partnerships, while nurturing relationships in each market.
  • Manage budgets and contracts related to local and national marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal usage of advertising resources.
  • Oversee the creation and management of marketing assets, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Collaborate with management to revamp the Rewards program, including marketing initiatives and creative promotions.
  • Handle crisis communication effectively alongside management and relevant agencies as necessary.
  • Analyze, assess, and report on the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, maintaining a record of accolades received.

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience, particularly in the restaurant sector, with an emphasis on agency collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time for store maintenance and new openings.
  • Strong budgeting expertise, encompassing cost tracking and invoice processing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, facilitating constructive feedback to local stores and agencies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills to manage diverse marketing needs for individual locations.
  • Competence in prioritizing and overseeing projects to maximize outcomes within budget constraints in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong self-management skills are essential.
