Join ezURs, a URAC accredited Independent Review Organization, as we seek dedicated and board-certified Physicians licensed in Louisiana. Our organization offers nationwide physician reviewer coverage and prioritizes evidence-based practices, ensuring our clinicians remain at the forefront of medical advancements in their specialties. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to engage in objective and defensible assessments of medical records, focusing on accurate diagnosis and treatment appropriateness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-authorizations, medication evaluations, and LTD/STD case assessments.
  • Analyze medical records with an emphasis on diagnosis, mechanism of injury, and treatment histories.
  • Collaborate with fellow physicians to ensure thorough and impartial evaluations.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and effective communication with relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Active, unrestricted physician licensure in Louisiana.
  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
  • In-depth understanding of utilization review processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct assessments of medical records in a non-bias manner.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Physician with active practice experience in relevant medical fields.
