JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Partner Manager to join our Portfolio Business Unit (PBU) team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative approach, outstanding communication and social skills, and a passion for encouraging positive relationships with Solution/Integration partners. Experience in the Life Sciences, Energy, and Industrial Machinery industries, as well as familiarity with our products and solutions, is highly desirable.

As a Partner Manager, you will work closely with external partners to find opportunities, develop strategies, and implement plans that drive successful business outcomes. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships and driving partner engagement to ensure successful customer outcomes. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic about thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Strategic Partner Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive PBU-SI partner plan that aligns partner capabilities with our customer needs, driving sustainable revenue growth for both National Instruments and our partners.
  • Value Creation: Leverage the diverse technical and business strengths of our partners to create competitive advantages for our customers, enhancing customer outcomes and fostering long-term growth for National Instruments.
  • Plan Execution: Implement PBU-Partner plans to ensure successful delivery of customer outcomes through collaborative efforts with our partners.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture influential executive relationships within key regional and global partners, driving engagement and deepening partnerships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the PBU industries, with a particular focus on National Instruments' products and solutions, to effectively align partner strategies with market demands.
  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with multiple internal collaborators across the BU, R&D, Product, and Sales organizations, as well as within the Partner Organizations, to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Develop innovative solutions to sophisticated challenges, ensuring that both partner and customer needs are met.
  • Communication: Use excellent communication and social skills to facilitate collaboration and ensure clear, consistent messaging across all levels of partnership engagements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the progress of partner-driven projects to ensure that objectives are met and successful outcomes are achieved.
  • For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner management, business development, or a related role, preferably within the Life Sciences, Energy, or Industrial Machinery industries.
  • Proven record of success in leading and growing partnerships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of National Instruments products and solutions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and social skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple partners and projects simultaneously while maintaining a strategic focus.
