- Provide on site and remote technical direction to site personnel and customers.
- Prepare job planning documents that define the work scope being performed through engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions;
- Provide leadership to skilled labor performing work on customer sites;
- Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment such as power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, and motors.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems in the substations on wind and solar plants.
- Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, and preparing job completion reports to customers.
- Exercise good judgment in controlling costs
- Maintain strong safety mindset at all times
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED

- Live within 100 Miles of Corona NM
- Previous High voltage experience
- Familiar with test equipment and testing procedures for transformers, relays, breakers, and underground splices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to read schematics.
- Ability to write and interpret switching orders.
- Required to mentor and train unqualified technicians
- Proven experience in leading field service team;
- Safety must be top priority.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Willingness to travel;
- Flexibility required;
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SmartSheets,
- Basic Workplace First Aid
The hourly pay range for this position is 30.57- 33.71 USD Hourly . The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is expected to close on November 11, 2024.
