Job description

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for selling Epicor products to prospects in a specific territory. You will manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. You will participate in the development, presentation, and sales propositions. You will also negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale. We are seeking applicants with a proven track record of sales success, the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management, and strong knowledge of business applications to support our sales team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage a sales territory, vertical, and/or geographical area.
  • Qualify opportunities to maximize leads and understand the business requirements of prospects and customers.
  • Plan and implement sales campaigns, coordinating with solution sales and professional services teams.
  • Input ideas and participate in marketing events.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, managing the short- and medium-term pipeline, and maintaining third-party relationships.
  • Update and maintain the CRM database, performing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the assigned territory.
  • Travel as needed to support sales efforts.

What You Will Likely Bring

  • Proven track record of sales success, with an accomplished history of selling multi-level to business, technical, and IT people.
  • Experience with business applications such as ERP, Supply Chain, and CRM, with a background in ERP markets and business preferred.
  • Ability to quickly qualify opportunities and identify key strategic positions for each new project.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with senior management in defined target markets.
