Go Ahead Tours (GAT) Canada
Director Level, Full Time

Starting Date: November/December 2024
Location: Toronto, ON (This is not a remote role. This role requires on-site presence a minimum of 3 days a week in our Toronto office.)

We are now seeking an experienced, strategic, sales & customer focused individual to lead our team in Canada. 


The Sales Director role is a dynamic role leading GAT sales and customer success teams for the growing Canadian market. Reporting into the VP Sales, the Director of Sales for Canada will be responsible for creating and executing high-growth strategies and initiatives to exceed goals; supporting a customer-centric environment; and developing a high-performing team in the Canadian market.
 
What you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrate ownership for all aspects of Go Ahead Tour’s Canadian business – strategy, execution, and team. Maximize investment in resources to exceed booking and strategic goals.
  • Create and execute a strategy focused on identifying growth opportunities to acquire new Canadian customer bookings, for both individual travelers and group travelers. Drive repeat customer bookings, and successfully grow existing book of business. 
  • Build a high-performing customer support team, delighting our travelers and attaining high NPS scores.
  • Hire, inspire and motivate your team—focusing on helping them successfully execute on sales strategies, providing stellar customer support, and facilitating their professional development.
  • Partner effectively with key stakeholders across the Go Ahead Tours business, including: other key sales leaders; customer support; marketing; sales enablement; analytics; engineering; product.

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of the travel industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree
 
The role is based in EF’s Toronto office, and requires an in-office presence with the team three days a week, with two days ability to work from home.
