These are exciting times at The Salvation Army as we launch a significant digital and business transformation. We are in the midst of revolutionizing our core capabilities to maximize service and mission outcomes. This will include an integrated platform for relationship and people management, learning, intranet and data warehouse. In order to achieve all this, we are now recruiting for a strong, experienced Salesforce Solutions Specialist to join our CRM team.
The Salesforce Solutions Specialist leads the development, communication, and deployment of the Salesforce solution's architecture, including integration, security, and customization. They Influence and drive the strategic direction, enablement, and adoption of CRM capabilities across The Salvation Army.
What you will do in this role:
Strategy and Planning:
- Act as a Salesforce expert, driving platform capabilities and contribute to platform strategies.
- Collaborate with CRM leadership and integrated teams to address solution requirements.
Solution Delivery:
- Lead cloud-based solution development and align implementation with architectural blueprints.
- Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet business and technical needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and ensure system accuracy.
Organization Capability Building:
- Lead the development and communication of architecture for specific solutions.
- Influence strategic capabilities and promote platform adoption across the organization.
- Maintain architectural blueprints and guide architectural decisions.
Governance:
- Ensure IT projects align with architectural standards and manage design risks.
- Provide Salesforce expertise, guiding solution implementation and ensuring compliance.
- Review and approve technical designs, promoting system reuse and optimization.
What you bring to the table:
- A university degree in business administration, computer science or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Salesforce Certifications preferred
- 5-7 years with Salesforce solutions, including large-scale implementations
- 5 years in a solution/technical architect role within complex organizations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based solutions, Salesforce technologies, security, data management, and application design.
- Expertise in architecture and Salesforce best practices, with experience in digital transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to align enterprise direction with business needs, build consensus, and influence key stakeholders.
- Non-profit experience is a plus.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $113,343 (mid.) to $132,243 (max). Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
