Carbmee is an enterprise software company headquartered in Berlin and with offices in Berlin and Munich. We offer a carbon management solution that enables companies to analyse, manage & reduce their carbon footprint. We measure our success in the greenhouse gas emission reduction of our customers. 

Your Role & Mission - We are seeking a motivated and tenacious junior professional to join our Strategy & Operations team as a Strategy & Business Operations Intern in Berlin. This role offers a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in DACH whilst having a real impact on the business and gaining hands-on experience.

Department: Strategy & Operations

Type: Paid Voluntary Full-time Internship (40 hours/week)

Duration: at least 6 months with the opportunity to join the team afterwards

Your tasks
  • Assist in company strategy development, including creating business cases and roadmaps

  • Support with analytical data insights and strategic analyses to make informed business decisions

  • Your analyses will lead to actionable insights, meaningful KPIs, and dashboards 

  • Work closely with the Head of Strategy & Operations and collaborate with other teams, such as Finance, Sales, Product, and Engineering to assist with tracking KPIs and cross-functional projects (e.g. pricing). 

  • Contribute to end-to-end projects from initial design to complete execution and ongoing improvement management 

  • Identify process improvements and support daily operations with direct touchpoints to leadership and Co-Founders

  • Execute on our Operating Model to contribute to the further development of a high-performance culture 

  • Act as a swiss-army-knife for the team, gaining exposure to and experience in many different areas of the business

Your profile
  • You are completing or have recently graduated from a great university with a business degree, or similar field

  • You have gathered initial experience in one or more of the following: strategy consulting, venture capital, a VC-backed SaaS startup, investment banking, or private equity

  • You feel at home in Excel, Google Sheets, or a project management tool (eg. Click Up)

  • You have strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

  • Excellent business English skills, German knowledge is a plus
