As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.
Job Summary
The Installation TFA III, having complete level III TFA competencies, will be responsible for the execution of installation works related to discipline in charge, which are to be compliant with safety, time schedule and satisfactory quality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and track the related Installation site procedures
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the subcontractors which are to be compliant with the time schedule and within the respective budget and satisfactory quality, applying Construction and Commissioning tools and processes
- Coordinate with the Installation Manager and other Installation TFAs on all issues affecting the scope of the project and interfaces with other projects
- Ensure implementation within the project’s scope of work, EHS policy, and site specific EHS plans, including providing co-workers with information about hazards, risks and risk mitigation measures applicable to the site
- Work with site material coordinator to ensure all logistics follow project installation schedule.
- Ensuring subcontractors are compliant with the EHS and Quality requirements at the site.
- Provide technical issues resolution with GE engineering approval using GE’s reporting system tools and drive action plan at site.
- Ensuring that all defined packages within the project are ready to accept Civil Turnover and System Turnover to Commissioning.
- Thoroughly investigate and mitigate all variances, deviations, non-conformances, extra works, non-budgeted costs etc. in conjunction with the Installation Manager and other site management staff as necessary to eliminate or minimize the cost impact to GE.
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
- Travel extensively (internationally and domestically)
- May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree in Engineering or higher qualification
- 7+ years of experiences working with Installion or in related industries
- Successful completion of required TFA III Training programs in a minimum requirement
- Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required.
- Able to connect and communicate across all level of site personnel and internal colleagues/stakeholders.
- Fluent and proficient in both spoken and written English
Desired Characteristics:
- Experienced level. Has the knowledge and skill to oversee commissioning activities and may process expertise in a secondary competency. Demonstrates mentor and team lead skill.
- Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience in Power Plant Commissioning
- Excellent knowledge and application of EHS rules.
- Prior project management experiences
