Hi there! We are Scale Up and our client is looking for a Global Process & Technology Manager!

Our client is looking for a solutions-oriented Global Process & Technology Manager with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing processes and technologies within the language services industry.

As our client continues to grow and position themselves as a market leader, they are seeking a highly driven individual who can implement cutting-edge technologies and connectors to ensure a competitive edge. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with Plunet and XTM.

Beyond language technologies, this role will oversee our client’s global IT infrastructure and support team, ensuring they deliver reliable, efficient services that continuously improve internal processes and IT support capabilities.

Given that the company operates entirely in the cloud, server management experience is not required. However, strong project management skills to drive system and software improvement initiatives are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a technology strategy and roadmap to enhance both client and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, and sales teams to analyze requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Identify and implement solutions that address client and internal needs effectively.
  • Analyze project scopes and provide creative solutions to optimize outcomes.
  • Improve process efficiencies, with a focus on enhancing service delivery quality and minimizing costs for clients.
  • Ensure internal training programs are in place to build technical and operational competencies across teams.
  • Manage and oversee the in-house IT support function and the global technological infrastructure.
  • Maintain and continually improve ISO27001 certification, while pursuing additional certifications as required to enhance the client’s standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in localization. 3+ years people management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with translation management systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, AWS preferred).
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and customer workflows within the language services industry.
  • Proficiency with translation memory tools such as XTM, SDL Trados, or other CAT tools.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of machine translation and its integration within the translation workflow.
