Position: Senior HR Generalist (Bilingual - Food Production) - Remote | Work From Home

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Collaborate with team members to assess staffing requirements, source candidates, and streamline the onboarding journey.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries, work collaboratively to resolve issues, and enhance a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Performance Management Support: Assist in the performance evaluation process by facilitating goal setting and performance assessments.
  • Training and Development Coordination: Identify training requirements and collaborate with our Learning & Development team to implement impactful training programs.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and keep accurate employee documentation.
  • Workers’ Compensation Management: Oversee the claims process, investigate workplace incidents, and engage with medical providers and insurance adjusters.
  • Benefits Administration: Provide support to employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and oversee our benefits programs.
  • HR Administrative Oversight: Manage various HR functions, address payroll inquiries, and facilitate employee engagement activities.

Required Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in HR, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian-Creole is advantageous.
  • Legal Acumen: In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Recruitment Expertise: Experience in full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Payroll Knowledge: Understanding of payroll administration.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal aptitude.
  • Discretion: Ability to manage confidential information with care.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred but not mandatory.
