Job description

Role Summary

Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant who will work closely with the accounts receivable team to ensure timely and accurate generation, processing, and record-keeping of invoices. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to effectively handle various tasks related to accounts receivable.

WORK SCHEDULE: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices to customers
  • Work closely with the accounts receivable team in support of their daily needs
  • Handle record-keeping and pay attention to detail
  • Interact with customers and internal teams professionally
  • Handle financial data and calculations accurately
  • Perform data management and analysis
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in records

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role is preferred but not required
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Teams
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
