Deductions Analyst (Remote)**

65-78,000 and Bonus **

Have you worked with complex contracts with different pricing, discounts, rebates, etc.

Role:

A leading global pharmaceutical company is building out their Deductions Analyst team. As a Deduction Analyst, this position will be sitting with Accounts Receivable and Collections department supporting the Manager and Director. You'll be responsible for monitoring a large portfolio of accounts with high dollar amounts ($75M+) a month to track and evaluate past due account receivable (AR) accounts. The main portion of this position is focusing on short pays, claims, and deductions. This would include analyzing contracts to understand the complexities of pricing, discounts, rebates, etc. Ultimately, these are high value deductions or short pays 25M+. **

Responsibilities:**

  • Work with Director to manage a large high-volume portfolio of accounts; upwards of 300+ accounts
  • Manage a large dollar amount (75M-200M) monthly portfolio
  • Analyze customer contracts for pricing, discounts, rebates, clauses, etc.
  • Track and resolve past dues; work with customer to resolve
  • Provide key decision makers with analysis and reporting to support company initiatives and strategies
  • Perform analysis of customer portfolio including credit worthiness, payment history, credit limits, purchases, etc.
  • Track, evaluate, and collect on past due account receivables (AR)
  • Evaluate past dues for deductions, write offs, refunds, etc.
  • Work with customers to resolve past dues; payment plans, deductions, discounts, cash applications, etc.
  • Ensure proper compliance with SOPs, SOX, GAAP, etc.
  • Work across all different departments including sales, operations, logistics, marketing, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 5+ years of high dollar deductions, short pays, claims, etc.
  • 2+ years of high volume and high dollar amount accounts receivable / collections experience within a Fortune 1000 organization
  • Must have experience with over 500+ accounts
  • Must have experience with a large and high volume dollar amount; over $80M a month
  • Must be results drive, metrics drive, etc.
  • A very strong Excel skill set; Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels or employee across all professions.
