Overview

Adastra is hiring! We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Account Director with experience in Data and Analytics to support our expansion in the United States. This position will be responsible for developing relationships with key clients and potential customers, helping them to understand Adastra’s Cloud, Data, Analytics, AI and ML service offerings, and managing key accounts. The ideal candidate is an energetic professional who can manage the P&L for our Data & Analytics consulting practice. Location: United States (Seattle or California, Remote)

Status: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and account management support to Adastra Executives
    • Meet monthly and quarterly sales objectives
    • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to management (D365 entries, sales process)
    • Diligently use, maintain, and update customer information using CRM system
    • Create proposals for customer pre-sales calls
    • Create Statement of Work for customer pre-sales and contracting
    • Collaborate on marketing initiatives (webinars, in person events, conferences) with the Adastra marketing team, developing applicable offers for targeted cloud partner vendors, and customers
    • Create account plans for targeted industries and develop contact lists to pursue through phone calls, LinkedIn, social media, and other communication channels
  • Establish strong relationships with Adastra practice/expertise leads and partners to effectively minimize sales cycle times and maximize conversion rates
  • Establish contact with potential clients and provide an overview of our services in a pre-sales capacity
    • Articulate how our services benefit clients and talk through dynamic offerings
  • Respond to Request for Proposals and take ownership of assembling the RFP responses and follow ups
  • Prepare written proposals and deliver oral presentation to customers and stakeholders
  • Key account management of current clients
    • Ensuring Customer Success and acting as a client advocate is the core of this role
    • Establish relationships with key accounts (Partners, customers, delivery team)
    • Maintaining relationships with existing customers and act as an advisor to help develop strategic vision for their technical platform solutions in the Data Analytics, and cloud modernization space
    • Manage agreements and contracts with customers, suppliers and vendors
    • Account farming - suggest applicable and relevant upsells to help clients benefit from our capabilities
  • Establish partner relationships and be responsible for presenting pre-sales solutions to customers
    • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Cloud Partners (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP)
    • Develop partner offers and accelerators to ensure that our partners feel valued with Adastra’s support as supplementary to their own sales team
Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Existing Sales or Account management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate complicated technical jargon for a non-technical audience
  • Strong technical knowledge and acumen of Data, Cloud, AI, ML and BI concepts
  • Experience in deploying Analytics and Data Management solutions, including Big Data, Reporting, AI and ML
  • Aptitude for building rapport and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in services/consulting and software sales
  • Superior presentation and public speaking skills
  • A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and individually
  • High level of energy and self-motivation
  • Must be willing to develop pre-sales technical capability in the Cloud Data space and present solutions to customers
  • Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science/Math or Business is preferred
