Key Responsibilities:

  • To empower and lead departmental and hotel staff in achieving monthly performance targets for revenue and profitability, and in achieving 4* service to customers.
  • To carry out duty Management shifts as required
  • To be responsible for the implementation of the hotel’s budgets in the absence of the Director of Hospitality
  • To develop, maintain and implement appropriate policies and procedure to support high standards of customer service and anticipation of guest needs
  • To assist HODs and Senior Managers in maximise sales and implementing upselling procedures in all areas
  • To handle guest complaints in a professional and helpful manner
  • To adhere to company accounting standards
  • To carry out performance appraisals for your team in accordance with company procedures
  • To remain familiar with the operation of the Opera and Micros computer systems
  • To recruit or aid recruitment of team members
  • To attend management meetings
  • To provide management information as required
  • To report accidents in accordance with company procedure
  • To ensure all maintenance requirements are handled in accordance with company procedures.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Deputy General Manager for a Hotel.
