Category management specialist (remote)

The Category management specialist is responsible for:

• Review commodities, determine potential opportunities for savings and cost recovery
• Conduct analysis of commodity spend, identify suppliers for contract compliance review
• Conduct contract compliance audits
• Compare billing and payment details
• Pricing/Rebates/Discounts/Credits
• Establishes and develops relationships with shareholders, suppliers and other third parties
• Create new strategies, opportunities for commodities
• Renegotiate existing contracts, execute new contracts
  
  

The ideal candidate:

• Fluent English
• Min. 5 years of experience in working in BPO/SSC
• Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Procurement, Accounting, Business, and/or Engineering
• Solid experience in category management (preferably one of these: Airfleet, Automotive, Capital Projects, Facilities, Fuel, Indirect services, Purchased Transportation, Real Estate)
• Have knowledge of common Procurement related IT systems (SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa etc.)
• Solid understanding and fluency with using the Microsoft Office
• A good level of organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
