As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by engaging with potential customers and guiding them through the sales process. Working remotely, BDRs use various communication channels, such as phone calls, emails, and online presentations, to connect with inbound leads and convert them into customers. This role requires a combination of excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a results-driven mindset. 


Responsibilities


Lead Generation 

  • Qualify and outreach to qualified leads generated by marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries. 

Customer Engagement 

  • Initiate contact with prospective customers via phone, email, and text messages. 
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and qualify potential business opportunities. 
  • Build rapport and establish a positive relationship with customers to understand their needs and challenges. 

Product Knowledge 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings to create tailored presentations. 
  • Clearly articulate product features, benefits, programs and value propositions to potential customers. 

Sales Negotiation 

  • Lead sales negotiations, presenting value-based solutions and overcoming objections. 
  • Handle objections with a consultative sales approach. 

Closing Deals 

  • Guide leads through the sales funnel and close deals to achieve sales targets. 
  • Meet or exceed monthly and/or quarterly sales targets. 
  • Achieve monthly and/or quarterly pipeline and opportunity generation targets. 
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the deal. 

CRM Management 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce. 
  • Maintain a well-organized pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting.  

Collaboration 

  • Work closely with the sales team to coordinate efforts and share insights. 
  • Provide feedback to improve sales processes and strategies. 
  • Manage the entire sales cycle while leveraging insights and support from other departments. 

Continuous Learning 

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and sales techniques. 
  • Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to improve sales strategies and tactics 
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who can captivate an audience, demonstrate value and respond effectively to client needs. 
  • 1+ years of proven experience in a high velocity inside sales role. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. 
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
