Laragen by Transnetyx is seeking a part-time Facilities and Administrative Coordinator to join our team onsite in Culver City, California.  You are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all facility-related functions and providing essential administrative support across departments. This role includes overseeing the maintenance, safety, and functionality of office spaces, managing vendor relationships, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with general office administration tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing office supplies, and handling communication with staff and external partners. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on efficiency and customer service. LOCATION: You will be located in-person at our Culver City, California facility.  This role is part-time up to 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

The Role

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

· Assists with greeting and directing visitors (ensures compliance with any local, federal guidelines as needed).

· Assists with office administration duties that support our employees engagement and well-being (including scheduling meetings, meals, gifts, flowers, other employee support efforts, and placing and receiving orders for onsite deliveries, etc.)

· Maintains common areas such as breakrooms including overseeing supply orders and stocking.

· Receives inbound phone calls as needed.

· Assist with receiving inventory orders.

· Coordinate scheduling facility maintenance and upkeep as needed.

· Receives and distributes daily mail and deliveries at the front door.

· Performs inventory checks around the building and communicates with team and vendors.

· Assists with invoicing/billing as needed.

· Submit invoices to accounts payable.

· Shopping for food and beverages to keep breakroom fully stocked.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· If time allows leadership may need clerical or administrative support.

EDUCATION:

Associate’s degree required

 

EXPERIENCE:

· 2+ years of related experience preferred.

· Proven agility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and at times busy environment is a must.

· A strong attention to detail supports success in this role.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication including creation of correspondence and documents.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or related software.

· Experience with Video Conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams etc.), Scheduling, and project management strongly preferred.

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position may experience prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and work on a computer. Other physical demands may include but are not limited to walking, standing, stooping, reaching. And may lift up to 15lbs at times.
