VIRTUAL ACOUNT MANAGERS (VAM) -STELLANTIS UK

FULL TIME, PERMANENT

Up to £35,000 DOE + £5,000 BONUS+ ROI COMPANY BENEFITS

The Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales Team Manager the Virtual Account Managers for Stellantis UK will be accountable for the following : -

Customer Management & Prospecting

  • Maintain relationships with fleet decision makers through regular, targeted contacts new and lapsed.
  • Identify new business opportunities to fit with project remit and brand
  • Analyse company rate books and vehicle bandings to position the brand accordingly
  • Submit bespoke terms for customer or prospects to position the brand competitively against competitors
  • Create and provide accurate quotes to customer or prospects
  • Fully utilising the corporate demonstrator fleet by positioning and arranging relevant demonstrator vehicles to customers and prospects.
  • Manage a database of records using applicable tools (ie CRM, Salesforce, Excel)
  • Maintain accurate records of customer and prospect communications
  • Management of customers and new business opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction and grow client market share.

Stakeholder Management

  • To work effectively with all stakeholders for delivery of the project targets
  • Liaise with the client as appropriate
  • Maintain relationships with leasing company account managers through regular, targeted contact
  • Work in partnership with dealerships to manage existing and new relationships
  • Be an advocate for both ROI and Stellantis with client contacts.

Operational Delivery

  • Strong sales/account management performance to deliver agreed targets and work in line with defined project procedures
  • Meet activity, quality and results targets and follow processes set by Sales Team Manager or Directors as appropriate
  • Respond to client and management requests for information in a timely manner
  • Follow all applicable ROI company, quality and project procedures and processes
  • Keep on top of market trends, maintain product knowledge and understand competitor products current and future
  • Attend training sessions, off-site events or client meetings as required.

Strong Communication Skills

  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to get to the root cause of a customer’s issues / needs both written / verbal.

Sales & Account Management Negotiation

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, listening and closing skills
  • Account-Based Selling and Strategic Selling

Relationship-building/networking

  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with a wide range of staff, being professional, articulate and presentable.
  • Friendly, positive outlook with a good sense of humour. The client and their customers should enjoy working with you

Technical skills and expertise

  • Experience in using CRM systems such as Sage and Salesforce and all-round confident IT skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Highly competent at using video conferencing software such as MS Teams or Zoom to host client and customer meetings
  • High levels of attention to detail, particularly with respect to error checking and accuracy with numbers
  • Ability to interpret data and provide informative feedback
