About the Role:

This position will be part of the CDW team which resides within Ingram Micro’s Major Business unit. The new Major’s business unit is comprised of our traditional National Solution Providers and Enterprise accounts. CDW is Ingram Micro’s largest reseller within the US and Globally. This role will be responsible for managing and growing CDW’s VMware by Broadcom’s business.

Key Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Onsite at CDW a minimum of 2 days a week in the Vernon Hills or Adam’s location.
  • Engagement with CDW’s ITS (technical pre-sales), Product Management, Sales, and Supply Chain organizations.
  • Alignment with CDW and VMware by Broadcom and driving strategic initiatives, priorities, and focuses.
  • Forecasting and management of pipeline and strategic opportunities.
  • Quarterly business reviews with stakeholders to review key initiatives and health of the business.
  • Help plan and coordinate marketing initiatives to drive sales enablement.
  • Travel 25-30% of the time (out of state).

Key Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Enterprise/National level accounts. Experience with CDW is greatly preferred.
  • Experience with/within the Channel, Distribution or Vendor communities.
  • Experience managing and understand the quote to cash motion for complex solutions that fall within the Advanced Solutions space.
  • Ability to simplify complex challenges and situations while navigating to a solution.
  • Xvantage Expertise: Drive insights and actions for reseller partners and vendors. Identifies opportunities to increase usage of the Xvantage platform for both reseller partners and vendors. https://usa.ingrammicro.com/cep/app/home
  • Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years specific experience.

Compensation : 60/40 (base/commission) split

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $69,800.00 - $118,700.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
