Do you have big ideas about how to increase margin by optimizing the cost of cloud? Cost of Cloud is hiring a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our growing team. This TPM will play a critical role in aligning priorities, collaborating with cross-functional partners and driving end-to-end execution of complex projects. They will design, coordinate, and complete technical solutions that have a huge impact as we move from the crawl to run phase in Cost of Cloud. This TPM will leverage data and anecdotes to influence roadmaps so we are solving for the biggest customer pain points. This natural problem-solver and strategic thinker understands various cloud technologies and is an exceptional communicator. They are a leader within the team and the broader technical community. Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science (or related field)
  • 8+ years of experience technical program management role
  • Previous experience or understanding of cloud technologies, engineering, software, and systems development lifecycles
  • Data-driven approach to solving problems and ability to deep dive to understand the nature of a problem
  • Experience developing or managing engineering or product portfolio planning and tracking processes and cadences
  • A natural problem-solver and strategic problem-solver who takes ownership
  • Efficiently and effectively communicating findings/progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and the broader organizations
  • Comfortable driving teams to deliver results, speaking up, and challenging the status quo when neededPreferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Enterprise Cloud Solutions (Azure, AWS, OCI, Etc.)
  • Experience in Analytics, AI/ML, Big Data, SQL, and Dashboarding
  • Experience in Financial Operations or similar system optimization

  • Independently lead complex projects and break them down into manageable deliverables.
  • Identify process gaps and build mechanisms to scale.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain our roadmap, setting appropriate expectations and ensuring our product and services meet our high operational excellence standards.
  • Drive execution for on-time, on-scope delivery of features.
  • Drive program schedules from design to launch, communicate to partners and senior leaders.
  • Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Lead interactions with cross-functional teams consisting of UX designers, Engineers, Product Managers, and executive leadership.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 - $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
