The Global Business Finance Organization is responsible for supporting the company’s executives and officers with financial and operational analysis to drive business decisions that contribute to the success and profitability of Oracle. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing financial support and insights to the North America Application Consulting organization and will report directly to the Finance Director. You will be a member of the finance team, partnering with the HQ, Sales and Business operations teams to provide FP&A support for NAA Consulting Organization.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to help the organization drive strategic business decisions, and will be responsible for providing various aspects of financial support to North America Application Consulting Org. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical and modeling skills with solid record of driving business performance.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Multifaceted role in supporting Financial Planning & Analysis for North America Applications (NAA) and Oracle Digital Experience Agency (ODX). Role will include P&L budgeting/forecasting, scenario modeling, executive summaries and decks, project management of Finance related initiatives, and various ad-hoc analytical projects.

  • Own the consolidation of NAA Consulting financials and GVP Level Industry Fully Loaded Dashboard
  • Maintain Consulting Financial hierarchy to support business requirements and drive effective reporting
  • Partner with business, operations and other finance leaders to drive accurate and timely forecast
  • Analyze, and interpret P&L including bookings, revenue and expenses/headcount, while using financial and operational metrics to provide data-driven insight and analytics
  • Oversee Consulting delivery and executive bonus plans
  • Perform monthly and quarterly financial and operational reporting for short and long-term forecasting, review strategic business investments, and analyze our regional performance
  • Understand complex financial problems and provide explanations and solutions that are sound and clearly communicated
  • Review quarterly results, forecast submissions to provide commentary and variance explanations
  • Identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers, proactively partner with finance teams across NAAC and ODX Consulting, to understand forecast variance drivers, identify risks/opportunities, and provide strategic insights
  • Create financial models to support business decisions and drive expected profitability
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and drive quarter end close processes & reporting
  • Work with various business partners in creating and reviewing annual financial targets
  • Proactively communicate areas of concern and recommend actions required to meet financial commitment
  • Provide periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting with actionable insights
  • Acquire and maintain high-level knowledge across all business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges, and opportunities across the business
  • Spearhead collaboration across the business support functions to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and drive timely submissions
  • Leverage analytic technology and key data sources to enhance financial analysis
  • Lead special projects in automation efforts and implement standard methodologies
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior financial analysts, fostering continuous learning and development


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, prior FP&A experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics required
  • Excellent excel skills with experience in producing flexible, repeatable, succinct reports that are highly automated and have few touch points.
  • Proven success in articulating complex financial documents, enabling informed decision-making and sound judgement
  • Highly skilled in storytelling and executive level presentation
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to thrive in high transparency, high complexity, fast paced environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple challenging priorities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners and collaborators to accomplish team goals
  • Innovative problem solving and effective decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage processes and identify cross-functional issues
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Utmost attention to detail, comfortable working with very large data sets in a business intelligence database environment to build queries, troubleshoot sophisticated data sets and produce concise analyses

US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 - $141,300 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
