Position Overview

  • Position: Claims Manager
  • Type: Full-time, W2 position
  • Compensation: Base salary + commission (high earning potential)
  • Base Salary: $30,000
  • Commission: \(30,000-60,000 (Total potential: \)60,000-90,000)
  • Location: Virtual

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the comprehensive claims process from initiation to resolution, ensuring precision and promptness.
  • Analyze all insurance scopes of loss to assess awarded coverage and line items.
  • Generate revised estimates and substantiate all legitimate line items with appropriate documentation.
  • Rationalize essential items in the scope of loss for each claim managed.
  • Engage in discussions about coverage and the scope of work with the assigned adjuster for each claim.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience.
  • Communicate directly with homeowners, offering updates on the claim process and addressing any inquiries.
  • Maintain precise communication within the CRM system.
  • Break down claim financials and clearly convey them to homeowners.
  • Prepare final invoices and supplements for claims, submitting them to the insurance provider upon completion of work.
  • Coordinate with the sales team regarding client updates and specific documentation needed for supplements.
  • Accurately track and manage claim financial information.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property claims adjusting (independent or public adjusting experience is an advantage).
  • Proficient in Xactimate estimation software (Symbility experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with local building codes and various roofing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple claims concurrently.
