Job Overview

As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the financial journeys of individuals by delivering progressive digital personal finance solutions. Your proficiency will ensure meticulous review of loan documentation for both accuracy and completeness, as well as the preparation of essential documents for final closings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate all loan documents for closing, ensuring exceptional quality control is upheld prior to funding.
  • Monitor and manage the issuance of the Closing Disclosure to borrowers, strictly adhering to TRID regulations.
  • Collaborate with closing agents to finalize necessary loan figures reflected in the Closing Disclosure.
  • Maintain proactive communication with document preparation vendors to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple states.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues with all stakeholders involved throughout the closing process.
  • Execute loan documents on behalf of the organization.
  • Prepare comprehensive funding packages for warehouse lenders and facilitate wire transfers for closing agents/titles in coordination with the funding department.
  • Conduct thorough data integrity reviews prior to shipment to secondary marketing investors, ensuring compliance with purchase and delivery deadlines.
  • Review pre-funding loan conditions and executed documents to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Direct collateral packages to the appropriate warehouse banks and/or investors.
  • Organize and archive digital files for efficient document storage and workflow management.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial services role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate positive relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a proven capacity to prioritize multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to complete federal background and credit checks successfully.
