Job description

Go Team is seeking an Accountant who will be responsible in managing and overseeing the financial records of the company, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of financial processes. The role involves preparing financial reports, conducting audits, managing tax returns, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting to support the company's financial health.

In this position, you will be:


  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial audits to verify accuracy and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, financial transactions, and investments to optimize financial performance.
  • Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and provide insights on financial trends and performance.
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies in financial data.
  • High attention to detail for accuracy in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving abilities to resolve financial discrepancies and enhance financial processes, with knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
