Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, Job Overview: A dynamic law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in business litigation, real estate, and healthcare law to assist with a high-volume caseload involving long-term care facilities, including assisted living and skilled nursing. This position is remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, with preference given to candidates located in Los Angeles or San Diego areas. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, developing legal strategies to deliver results for clients.Duties:Handle primary litigation responsibilities, advancing cases through to trial.Develop legal strategies based on the evaluation of extensive records and documentation.Conduct and defend depositions, propound and respond to discovery, and prepare and oppose motions.Collaborate with clients and legal teams to devise solutions to complex legal issues.Manage legal deadlines and maintain high standards in decision-making, reasoning, and communication.Requirements:Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.Strong skills in litigation, legal research, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.Exceptional attention to detail and time management under pressure.Previous experience in long-term care litigation is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.Skills:Advanced critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication, both written and oral.Capable of working remotely with legal administrative and paralegal support. This nearly quarter century old law firm has about a dozen attorney working for it. They specialize in areas of law including, Construction, Government Contracts, Healthcare and more. Over its years, this firm has expanded to a handful of offices across Florida, Virginia and Washington DC.
