This role focuses on civil litigation and involves managing case files, representing clients at pre-trials, mediations, and trials, and working on high-volume cases. The position offers a flexible work environment, allowing the attorney to work from their home office in the Indianapolis area.Duties:Manage case files and develop strategies for the next steps in litigation.Represent clients at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances.Draft and create persuasive legal communications.Conduct investigations to uncover facts, determine causes of action, and recommend legal strategies.Handle a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.Collaborate with team members and effectively manage competing priorities.Requirements:1-3 years of civil litigation experience.Experience in creditors' rights or collection law is preferred.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.Strong communication and persuasive writing skills.Investigative skills for uncovering facts and determining appropriate legal actions.Self-motivated with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Indiana.Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.Subrogation or insurance experience is a plus.
