About This Opportunity

As Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) best located in the area of Hamburg or Berlin you will be responsible for growing Aligns business, Invisalign and iTero, with dentists as customers in your designated area (North of Germany). With your ability and experience to lead a team, leading their thinking and earning their support through initiative, action and drive for results you make a mark.

In this role, you will…

  • Manage, coach and motivate an assigned team of Territory Managers
  • Provide leadership and coaching to Territory Managers in one-on-one and group settings
  • Support and guide Territory Managers in developing sales plans and strategies to reach their targets
  • Ensure that Territory Managers address customers with specific action plans
  • Provide training in product knowledge, customer segmentation and selling skills
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns when required
  • Hire high caliber Territory Managers to keep leading a high-performance team
  • Balance short term operational needs with long term organizational needs of the business
  • Regularly report sales performance of your team to the Business Unit Manager
  • Collaborate with a network of business leader colleagues to develop new ideas how to bring sales forward

In this role, you’ll need …

  • Academic Background in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing
  • Minimum of 5-8 years sales experience with at least 2-3 of those managing a sales team
  • Preferably experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
  • An advocate for digital products and workflows to help growing our doctors practices
  • Strong insights & business analytical skills, experience in budget management and planning
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
  • Advanced presentation, negotiation and coaching skills
  • Full, clean driving license
