Job Description: Workday Adaptive Analyst
The Workday Adaptive Analyst will help support Avalara's Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting processes by developing Workday Adaptive platform. We are looking for a strong understanding of Workday Adaptive functionalities, integrations. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills and be able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Workday Adaptive integrations with Workday HCM and NetSuite
- Advanced level day-to-day support for Workday Adaptive Planning users, including troubleshooting technical issues and providing guidance on system-related questions.
- Administer the Workday Adaptive Planning platform, including user management, data integration, model and formula building, system configuration and reporting.
- Document project deliverables, process and workflows.
- Work with end-users to promote system adoption and proficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and new features in Workday Adaptive

What You'll Need to be Successful
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, accounting, finance or related fields with 3-5 years' experience on Workday Adaptive
- Strong knowledge of Workday Adaptive functionalities- Integrations with Workday HCM, NetSuite, admin tasks, model building, reporting (Matrix/OfficeConnect), formulas and dashboards.
- Support testing phases across solution development life cycle
- Document system design, configuration and development objects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of automated financial systems and best practices
- Reporting to the manager
