Job Overview

Join our esteemed boutique law firm, located in the vibrant East Side of King County, as we seek a skilled Paralegal to become an integral part of our complex personal injury litigation team. This role offers a unique opportunity for legal professionals who are driven by a passion for justice and are eager to contribute within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on a range of intricate personal injury cases
  • Organize and maintain extensive case files, encompassing medical records, witness statements, and other essential documents
  • Draft and file crucial legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Support attorneys in trial preparation, managing witness preparation, exhibit organization, and courtroom logistics
  • Oversee the discovery process by scheduling depositions, summarizing records, and preparing privilege logs
  • Communicate efficiently with clients, insurance representatives, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
  • Uphold meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with deadlines and court regulations

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in handling complex personal injury litigation
  • Proficient in e-filing within King, Pierce, or Snohomish counties
  • Skilled in drafting pleadings, motions, and other discovery documents
  • Strong research and writing capabilities within a legal framework
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at managing multiple priorities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with legal research databases and case management software

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in managing complex personal injury cases, including but not limited to brain injuries, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith claims.
