Job description

• Perform account and bank reconciliations, including daily reconciliation of EFTPOS receipts with precision and speed.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and debt collection, ensuring deadlines are met and issues are resolved quickly.
• Fortnightly reconciliation of subcontractor invoices.
• Handle payroll, including processing timesheets and wages on a fortnightly basis with attention to detail.
• Reconcile various systems, including Xero, Halaxy, Medicare, and online banking, identifying and addressing discrepancies proactively.
• Reconcile petty cash and prepare financial information for year-end reporting.
• Produce timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports.
• Investigate and resolve financial irregularities or queries, ensuring prompt communication with relevant parties.
• Assist in financial management and analysis, providing clear insights to support business decisions.
• Prepare reports on key metrics such as new enquiries, attendance rates, and telehealth costs.
• Maintain and manage database integrity, ensuring accurate data entry and report generation.
• Prepare diary target data for clinicians and update fee structures in Halaxy.
• Manage data entry for clinician dashboards with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as needed, staying flexible and adaptable.
