Resourcer/Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Remote, South Africa
Salary: R17500 per month
Connectivity Allowance: R1,000 per month
Equipment Provided: Company laptop, headset, inverter, keyboard, and mouse

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Resourcer/Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team. In this role, you will focus exclusively on identifying and sourcing top talent within South Africa for Recruitment Consultants and Employer of Record (EOR) Specialists servicing clients in the UK, USA, and Australia. Your key performance indicator (KPI) will be to deliver a minimum of 5 excellent candidates per day. You will be responsible for conducting interviews, preparing cover pages, and providing references for candidates. This position does not involve business development; your primary responsibility will be to source and vet candidates to ensure a seamless recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates for open positions.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Candidate Management:
    • Prepare cover pages and detailed candidate profiles for Recruitment Consultants.
    • Conduct reference checks and gather feedback on candidates to present to the recruitment team.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
  • Collaboration with Recruitment Team:
    • Work closely with Recruitment Consultants and EOR Specialists to understand their specific hiring needs and preferences.
    • Participate in regular meetings to discuss candidate progress and strategize sourcing approaches.
    • Ensure a smooth handover of qualified candidates to the recruitment team for further engagement.
  • Record Keeping and Administration:
    • Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation in the Manatal ATS and Close CRM systems.
    • Track sourcing metrics and report on candidate submissions, interviews, and placements.
    • Assist in administrative tasks related to recruitment, including scheduling interviews and managing candidate databases.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and sourcing techniques.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the candidate sourcing process and overall recruitment strategy.
    • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Minimum Experience:
      • At least 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a focus on sourcing candidates.
    • Education:
      • Completed Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
    • Skills:
      • Proficient in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong focus on sourcing and screening candidates.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and the recruitment team.
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and tasks effectively.
      • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time efficiently to meet KPIs.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in using social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) and job boards for candidate sourcing.
      • Comfort with technology and digital platforms for recruitment processes.
