Position Summary/Objective

The Knowledge Coordinator supports organization-wide knowledge sharing, so that the organization’s know-how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization. The knowledge Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Service Delivery knowledgebase and works closely with the Learning & Development team to support training efforts and execute Knowledge Management process activities.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain knowledge articles for internal and external use either directly or through network of subject matter experts
  • Stay abreast on organizational subject matter such as processes, standard operating procedures, and policies and manage updates to knowledge management system
  • Demonstrate and maintain an understanding of Service Delivery activities and knowledge management tools
  • Perform gap analyses to identify knowledge needs and implement enhancements. Partner with internal stakeholders to capture knowledge
  • Approve knowledge submissions for business unit(s) and Respond to knowledge feedback. Build and maintain tools through which knowledge is collected, stored, and shared.
  • Monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program to ensure the quality and the quantity of knowledge meets expectations and needs of internal and external communities
  • Advocate knowledge management use and contributions within and across functional areas
  • Report on use of knowledge and other related performance metrics and Request Changes and additions to the knowledge management system in support of business operations
  • Work with other Knowledge Coordinators to review and audit/self-assess the knowledge management process and its techniques and methods
  • Assist in establishing and improving the processes related to management of knowledge within and across operations teams
  • Partner with Learning & Development to ensure knowledge content is accessible
  • Provide input into OSV’s knowledge management strategy and perform special projects, as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of prior experience with documentation and/or training, preferably in an outsourcing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of BPaaS and/or Workday service delivery
  • Experience with Salesforce
