We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR and Payroll Administrator to join our team. GLOBAL CANDIDATES ONLY! This role is crucial in supporting both HR and Finance departments by managing payroll operations, HR functions, and providing analytical support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in start-up environments, possess expertise in Excel and pivot tables, excel in wearing multiple hats, and thrive in a repetitive environment. They must be proactive, strategic, and able to act as a true partner to the organization.

Position Type: Full Time (30+hours)
Location: Remote, Global 
Schedule: Pacific Standard Time | Monday - Friday. Saturday and Sunday as needed
Compensation: $7.00 - $9.00 USD per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for both US and global employees accurately and timely.
  • Process monthly payroll for contractors. 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including daily orientations and audits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Generate HR and payroll reports using Excel, pivot tables, and other analytical tools.
  • Provide support for HR initiatives such as performance management, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare financial reports.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR and payroll-related inquiries and issues.
  • Act as a proactive and strategic partner to the organization, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. Or at least 4 years of HR+Payroll combined experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and payroll administration, preferably in a start-up environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software - Rippling preferred (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
