Job description

Summary:
Position interacts with customers and employees as the first point of contact at EPIC Insurance Midwest to provide requested information. Assist with other projects as needed by different business lines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide support to Account Coordinators in the processing of commercial lines insurance policies
• Entering information into the agency management system
• Requesting and processing policy change requests
• Issuing certificates of insurance, evidence of property, and auto identification cards
• Responsibility for processing audits, endorsements, cancellations and other non-renewal items including checking/verifying coverages and entering complete detail into Sagitta
• Create Page Marks & Page Descriptions in Imaging System
• Print schedules needed as part of renewal marketing process
• Issue Bonds
• Order Motor Vehicle Reports for Company Use
• Direct accountability for researching and resolving customer inquiries as it relates to policyholder maintenance.
Qualifications:
• High school graduate or equivalent. College degree a plus.
• Prior customer service, office administration, and/or insurance experience is required; prior commercial lines insurance experience a plus.
• A current Indiana Property & Casualty license is necessary or must be willing and able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products.
• Previous Agency Management systems experience a plus, Vertafore/ Sagitta preferred.
• Previous Document Imaging systems experience a plus, Vertafore/ImageRight preferred.
• Must be detail oriented, excel in a fast-paced environment, able to meet deadlines, work with a sense of urgency and have excellent customer service skills.
