We are looking for deadline and detail oriented Senior Fire Protection Estimator to join our growing team.  The Senior Fire Protection Estimator will collaborate with fire protection engineers, project managers, and business development to provide comprehensive fire protection proposals for design build pursuits.  We’re seeking an individual who possesses exceptional leadership and communication skills.  This position can be remote, hybrid, and/or based out of our main office in Carrollton, GA.

Responsibilities
  • Review fire protection bid documents and propose layout for pricing.
  • Collaborate with pre-construction team on value engineering, scope changes, and code compliance issues during the bid process.
  • Provide detailed estimates and layouts.
  • Attend proposal review meetings and provide guidance on capture strategy.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and professional representation and responsiveness for prospects and customers.
  • Assist the design team during the design phase.
  • Interact with clients and advise them during all phases of the project.

Qualifications
  • 10 years’ experience in the fire protection field
  • Strong ability to read and understand building plans and blueprints
  • Ability to perform high level mathematical functions and calculations
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and HASS
  • Active role and participation in NFPA/NFSA/AFSA preferred
  • NICET Level III Certification preferred
