Requirements

 Job Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual financial results.
  • Assist VP of Finance in month end close and in providing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger and accounting functions.
  • Research general ledger issues and assist with journal entries.
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Manage working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
  • Assist with preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and insights.
  • Evaluate financial implications of business decisions and projects.
  • Develop financial models to support business planning and decision-making.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (strong background in PivotTables and VLOOKUP functions using large sets of data).
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to multitask & problem solving mindset.
  • Self-reliant, flexible, collaborative and results oriented. 
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Construction industry experience is preferred.
  • MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
