Job description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Lead to oversee all payroll functions and ensure that payroll processes run efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all regulations. The role involves managing payroll systems, handling payroll deductions, coordinating with HR on new hires and terminations, and assisting with payroll-related year-end activities. The Senior Payroll Lead will also handle expense processing, invoice management, and credit card reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Payroll Functions: Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll distribution.
  • ADP Paycard Processes: Manage and distribute payroll via ADP Paycards, handling employee enrollment and resolving issues.
  • Payroll Deductions: Calculate and process payroll deductions such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and keep up to date with changes in payroll laws.
  • Payroll Records & Reports: Maintain accurate payroll records and reports for auditing and financial purposes.
  • Year-End Payroll Activities: Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
  • Employee Support: Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Coordination with HR: Work closely with the HR team for onboarding new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and other payroll-related activities.
  • Expense & Invoice Processing: Process expenses in Paycom and handle invoice processing in PlateIQ.
  • Corporate Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements (Citizens and Amex) and track points of sale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of ADP Paycard systems, payroll software, and Paycom.
  • Familiarity with PlateIQ for invoice processing and credit card reconciliations.
  • Deep understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage complex payroll operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with payroll and financial reporting software.

  • Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $1000 - $1300
