Data Engineer
Remote

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Teradata, Azure SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure Databricks.
This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of Travel & Hospitality Domain data and analytics to drive impactful solutions. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.

Responsibilities : -
  • Lead the design and implementation of geospatial data solutions using Teradata, Azure SQL, and Databricks. –
  • Oversee the development and optimization of PySpark scripts for data processing and analytics. –
  • Provide technical expertise in Azure Databricks to enhance data integration and analysis capabilities. –
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. –
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation and quality checks. –
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all geospatial data processes and workflows. –
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of geospatial queries and data models. –
  • Implement best practices for data security and compliance in all geospatial data projects. –
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and technical challenges. –
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technologies and incorporate them into the teams workflow.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of geospatial data solutions.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of geospatial applications in a hybrid work environment.
  • Contribute to the companys mission by delivering high-quality geospatial insights that drive business decisions.

Qualifications - - Must have extensive experience with Teradata, Azure SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure Databricks. - Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on geospatial data. - Nice to have experience in data visualization tools and techniques. - Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Should be proficient in performance tuning and optimization of data queries. - Nice to have experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
