Data Engineer
Remote

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Teradata, Azure SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure Databricks.
This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of Travel & Hospitality Domain data and analytics to drive impactful solutions. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.

Responsibilities : -

Lead the design and implementation of geospatial data solutions using Teradata, Azure SQL, and Databricks. –
Oversee the development and optimization of PySpark scripts for data processing and analytics. –
Provide technical expertise in Azure Databricks to enhance data integration and analysis capabilities. –
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. –
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation and quality checks. –
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all geospatial data processes and workflows. –
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of geospatial queries and data models. –
Implement best practices for data security and compliance in all geospatial data projects. –
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and technical challenges. –
Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technologies and incorporate them into the teams workflow.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of geospatial data solutions.
Support the deployment and maintenance of geospatial applications in a hybrid work environment.
Contribute to the companys mission by delivering high-quality geospatial insights that drive business decisions.

Qualifications - - Must have extensive experience with Teradata, Azure SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure Databricks. - Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on geospatial data. - Nice to have experience in data visualization tools and techniques. - Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Should be proficient in performance tuning and optimization of data queries. - Nice to have experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
